ok so i checked my User CP today and there were some messages along with reps ( thanks guys :) )

can one reply quoting those comments ?

if i click on the name of the person who left the rep, it goes to their page and you can leave a comment viewed by all but not with a quote to the original comment ..

i know i can cut and paste, etc but is there a better way ?

No...

I don't think that there is a better way Kam. I think the only way to reply to a rep comment with the original quote is to cut and paste. I know this is not the way rep was intended to be used, but if I feel the need to respond to a particular rep comment then I search and find that posters most recent post (whatever it may be) and rep it, thanking them for their rep and addressing what I want to. Rep is just numbers on a page and shouldn't be taken to seriously, however, I enjoy the comments without going to the trouble of a pm.

I agree.I've found it's a really good way to get and give feed back and make new friends as well.Once I found out about how to find the rep left for me my friend list has grown and I feel I've become more involved here on Az.And it is easier than a pm but they are also nice to get.

I copy the rep comments that I want to comment about, click on the senders name. When it goes to his name page I click on contacts and pm him. Or I'll rep a post as was said above.

I can read the comments and the author in my rep section, but my boyfriend, who is also a member of this forum and has his own account, can only read the comments. It does not display the author of the rep comment on his account.

Does anybody else experience this, that you cannot see who the author of the rep is?
