Reputation Comments Question

I tried to search for an answer but did not find one anywhere. I apologize if this is already somewhere else. I just looked at my latest rep comments and one of the squares is dark grey or black. Does that mean negative rep? If so I have to question this fool for his comment I think it was made out of jealousy.

I would hazzard to guess that someone tried to leave you good rep, however it sounds like they didn't have enough rep themselves to leave a truly "good" green rep mark.

So it isn't bad rep then? I understand if he didn't have enough. Thanks for your help Mr. Wilson. The comment didn't have a negative tone to it but it could be perceived that way.

You can leave rep points, but someone like Cuetechasauras who has made it his mission to collect only reddies, and newbies will only leave neutral or gray feedback. I'm not sure how many you need to have yourself before it registers green, and I think the more rep you have, the more you impart when you leave it.

If you go to User CP, then click on Members List, then click on Reputation, it will sort the list of members and you can see how much each person has.
