Reputation points...

i have 99,220,485 after my first 1000 posts since joining 324days ago.

is that so bad ! :cool:
 
When introducing yourself to other AZ members when meeting for the first time, you can say 'My name is so-and-so and I have a reputation beyond repute' so they know that anything you say afterwards in conversation is valid.

lol. Otherwise you'll just get ignored and labeled a noob, potential scammer, or another person in disguise (duplicate account).

Wow, I didn't even know where to look for the number...??? At 80mil, I'm really slackin'. And I've got a LONG way to go before, as Justin put it - I get a life.

Rep threads always intrigue me. I do read all the comments folks leave to me, but I never think of rep as more than that...I'm gonna start giving more reps for posts I like since it does seem important to some...:cool:

They're really not that important to me, unless of course I get a toaster.
 
Now that I've learned there is a points system, where do you click to see how many points you have? Yeah, I'm pretty much computer illiterate. I was here for months before I even noticed the green dots...

click on user CP and above the comments there is a total for points....don't feel bad, I didn't notice it either :p
 
I thought you guys were joking about the bazillion point totals, but then I found my point total. I have been here for not too long, and this my 30th post. I have reputation beyond repute, and a point total somewhere near 18 million. I bring very little to the table and I am already approaching Peyton Manning levels of awesome. With a lot luck, and just a little help, maybe I too can reach a level of repute that is even further beyond repute than normal highly reputable reputations that I see in this joint....

i have over 2 billion, it took me a year to get my first 10,000 points. there is a built in inflation thing here thats kinda like interest in bank. since everyone keeps repping everyone the total points grow quickly. I did a extrapliation/projection of when we would hit a million(the top 5 people or so) and I was way off-i think we all had 25M or 25 times more points than I predicted.

I have some dates and point totals i'm going to giver to my data analist and have him figure it all out, its fun for me to watch the numbers grow and leave messages for my friends. I like REP, i like to open up my page and see who has dont the right thing ;).
