Request to Johnny Archer, President of ABP

To many of us in the AZ Forum have been upset with the ABP in it’s dealings with the US Open.

Johnny, you have chosen to be silent and let others speak for you.

Mr. Walsh was getting a lot of bad press in this forum. A lot of people came to his defense and said that he was a great person with many contributions to pool. He finally came out with a press release, not his responsibility, which I appreciated. I now believe those people who came to Mr. Walsh’s defense. I know it doesn’t matter but I now am on his side and thank him for his contributions to pool.

I have a suggestion go on Run Out Radio and talk about how excited you are that things have been resolved. You are a great player everyone knows that!!!! Show us your other side!!

It’s not just the great pool players that make Pool Great, but it is the fans also.

With both parties appearing to be happy with the outcome of the negotiations, can't we just put this to bed now? Not refering to the Op here at all, but some people seem to want to drag this out as long as they can, which in my opinion is not good for Pool.

Maybe -- and I could be wrong -- the websmaster of the ABP website is not able to make changes currently due to personal reasons, i.e., sickness, death in the family, et cetera.

The press releases are proof positive that things are moving in the right direction.

JA has been very busy recently, I agree with this and will call it to JA's attention AFTER the 14.1 tournment. I have been talking to him daily.


I will do what I can, but it will be a few days, unless I can speak to one other person who mite be able to help sooner. I have never read their website, infact I didnt know it existed, I just read what was here and didnt know the content of press releases until I read them here. I didnt want to know aint my beef. But I agree if its settled then it should be buried at sea...

It is because of personal things FAR from pool, good insight.
