In response to some of the negative comments - I am extremely polite to each and every player. I always shake hands and tell them good game. I pride myself on that aspect of my game. There's more to the story also.
They have a weekly tournament at the room I shoot out of. It is for skill level 6 and under. Sevens are not allowed to play. We convinced them to let us play for 2 weeks. The stipulation was that we had to give everyone a 9 - 2 spot! That's pretty tough action - but we were just happy to play. Then we got boycotted again. It's BS. I am not elite. I just would like to compete. We tried to have a tournament between the sevens and there aren't enough if us. It's the first time I have ever heard - you can't play because you are too good. Come on - it's not like we are pros...
i guess you dont have any open tournaments in your are if any. we have 1 or 2 in my area almost every week that usually has 32 players in it and most are 6's and above plus serious non league players. its a shame you dont have enough players in your area for some thing like that.
as far as being too good. i went to a local bar tournament and won it. went back the next week and was told i was barred. i am only a 5...its all relative on what some one determines ...too good i guess.
