Play you for a beer

Miickey, Lock N Load is still around! Coast to Coast..

I got to thinking recently with the rise of Dippy and the return of the suckers that this will ultimately lead to one thing and one thing only....The return of the road player.

Yes, I think in 2011 all that free information that people were just spewing left and right people will be a little more tight lipped about it. Only will tell there friends and people they make money with. I feel like it's cut throat out there now, this might be a good thing.

The return of taking the rail off is back strong. People know, they don't want to accept it but they know when they get taken off and deep down they respect the hustle of it all because that's what they do or that's what they wanna be.

I watched the TAR stream and to me the message I took away from it was simple, it ain't bout skill it's about the money. You can get action with anyone if your bank roll is long enough. You can get whatever spot you want. I think the setup games are back. Pay your tolls.

Bottom line I think the hustle is back in pool now. I know regular guys that won't play on streams, I think we will see more of that. You don't see people posting anymore on how they would match up with someone, there's a good reason for that.

You heard it from Frosty, 2011: Year of the Road Player

Hello Mickey,
I am still around going all over. But when I go somewhere they know all about me before I get in a pool hall! I tell them I can't make a ball and they laugh! He, he, he. On the road again, on the road again. Music to my ears. Mickeyfrost, you're OK, with your good posting self! he, he, he....
Regards,
Lock N Load.

I never though I'd say it but I'm gaining more and more respect for Dippy.
He's havein' a ball.

Get a spot , bet , lose , adjust , raise bet, lose , adjust , raise bet , lose again and again until the money is so big that the player can't walk away from the promise of a score of a life time then ...BAM!! Set the hook.
Takes good money management , a bankroll , and guts but it's a beautiful sting.

Good one Dip! Guys that's exactly what Dippy told me when I was trying to match up with him. He said bet whatever makes you comfortable.
And that's what I did with the bankroll that I could get up In a short time.

But be ready when you get him stuck cause he for sure Is gonna try to raise the bet on ya!! I goofed off a 5k race to 5 just so I could quit for awhile lol..That was after about 13 or 14 hrs. He really Is a good guy to play with. He doesn't try to hi roll everybody.

Oh and to keep with the post....I think dippy has raised the bar on the min bet. Even though It cost alot more on the road nowadays at least people are betting It up pretty good. Like 500.00$ sets now are kinda on the avg or on the cheap end.
I miss the old days of being on the road. But It's a pretty tough life but fun none the less. John B.

I can't even imagine betting 5 g's. My question is not critical and almost rhetorical. Why didn't you win the race for 5 long and either quit or say you needed a break? Is there a corollary to Rule #4 that says your can quit even if your a winner overall if you quit right after a losing bet?
