Revo shaft now available for purchase

I don't know if I want the 12.4 or the 12.9

Get the 12.4; there are many out there that already have the 12.9.

If you later want the 12.9 larger diameter after working with the 12.4, someone (including myself) would be willing to trade your 12.4 for a their 12.9.

I hit with my friend's 12.4mm Revo last night. It did not feel nearly as thin as I expected and the original shafts did not feel as thick as I expected when I've tried them at national events.

It is. I suspected it all along since predator doesn't post shaft comparison for the 12.4 They always do when a lower deflection shaft come out.
However I decided to go with 12.4 since it fit my fingers better. Minor adjustment on some shots.
I notice you are also from MN, where do you normally shoot at?

I can confirm the 12.4 deflects a bit more. Very puzzling

can you guys explain how you measured the degree of deflection between the 12.9 and 12.4
have measured other shafts ie ob+ ??
seems counter intuitive that the thicker shaft is LOWER deflecton
thanks

It's here and I spent a good 4 hours with is yesterday. I got the 12.9. It took a bit to get used to its absolute point and shoot feel and ease of moving the cue ball but by the last hour I felt back to speed. I think the bigger thing to get used to was going from playing with soft tips to the medium victory tip it came with. I may change that.. I'm not sure. I didn't even notice the color of the shaft after 15 mins. Or so of play.

No, you get used to the color very quickly. Did you get the victory medium installed before delivery? I thought they were the soft version that come stock.

The only issue I'm having with my cue is everyone grabbing it to check it out. They all love the feel & smoothness of the shaft & everyone like the stealthy look.

Nice combo.

I did a few tests shooting some 9 foot shots toward the center diamond with side spin. The real test was playing with the 12.4 for a few days. Switching back to the 12.9 there was an obvious decrease in deflection (and yes I'm aware of the swerve effects). Most noticeably on slow shots with inside english.
