the way i figure it, reyes won around 45000 at the derby in tournament money. 13000 and some change for 9 ball, 10000 for 1 hole, however much he got for placing in banks, and 20000 for the all around.

not bad seeings how its only january........looks like another year on top of the earnings chart for reyes........

if this is any indication of the year 2005 for Efren, expect him to bag a lot of tourneys this year. i also hope that Bustamante's slump will be over this year.

Don't forget the 15K or so that he won playing Cliff Joyner at the Derby this week.

i wish there was a way to keep track of the action earnings. thats why i specified tournament play. there's no telling how much money some guys make outside of tournaments. one minute they're playing for 15 large then when the story gets to say the west coast it was for 50.......LOL. it would be nice if there was a way to know how much someone like say keith for example has won over the years outside of tourneys.

although, sometimes you win 15k this week and lose 10k next week

It would be intresting for sure to see the players earnings (or losses) as they gamble with one another. I think that winning (or losing) some money playing pressure games amongst one another is a good investment for the mental game.
What really dismays me is that some of these well known pros (won't mention names) are foolish enough to go to the casino with their pool winnings. That's just plain stupid.

Playing against one another they have a chance. Going to the casino the chances are slim to none. RJ

That doesn't seem to be the case with Efren. Not to say he never books a loser, but he doesn't seem to book them very often.

thats true, i haven't heard him book that many. i'm sure he does lose, but for the most part i don't think he gets any many games he isn't pretty confident in.

Better yet, pool is off to a great start in 2005, care of Efren Reyes.

Let's add the 15k he won playing one hole onto the other 45k, that's 60k in the month of January, hmmm....that means Efren is on pace to make 720,000 for the year LOL!

Anybody know how the rest of the players ranked in the DCC? Is there a list somewhere? I checked their website but I didn't see none. (nice page of past winners, though. didn't know that efren was all-around winner in the 1st and last holdings of the dcc, and now the only 3 tme winner)

side note: how are the roads in nyc???? i'm supposed to be driving up there monday

Roads are not bad up here. They seem to be cleaning up pretty well, but I hear we are getting another 1-2 inches tonight. By Monday you should be fine.
