Rhea

ya'll enjoy watching car wrecks eh? there was horrible undertones within the manner that alot of people here followed her

she's ill and needs help, not an audience nor enablers

Even notice that everyone was playing 100-300 a game 9 ball in the 70's?
Or, there are a few genuine people and lots of people fudging the numbers to make things sound better.

Amazing, that the same people wont bet water is wet.

I find her stories somewhat interesting....but if there isn't a world-class
player as a goal.....the trek is futile.

In the late 70s, I was paying $9.95 a night at a Motel Six....gas was cheap
enough that I can't tell what MPG I was getting....table time was cheap...
...and I was betting frequently $100 to $300 PER GAME at 9-ball.

Playing cheap SETS on the road with today's prices make as much sense
as buying a Lamborghini to deliver pizza.

I do not miss all his/her bs stories, lies, and failed reactions to people who offered helpful advice. I don't wish bad things on him/her, but I don't care to read the downfall of a person who refused to do anything about it.

Well said!

I ran into her 2 weeks ago, she said she'd be around here for about a month before heading out again. I haven't been back to that room since so I don't know if she's still hanging around. But, I was surprisingly disappointed by the lack of improvement I saw since I last saw her (3 years ago); considering the company she had while travelling. A grinder? Absolutely, but smooth stroke. good form? Not even close.

Lol ... I take it that if he/she takes PaulieB's advice and asks for donations to a Paypal account to post her adventures that you will not be a contributor!!! :D

I'm with you and just about burst out laughing when I read PaulieB's suggestion.

don't sugar-coat it Alyssa!

hmmmmm... looks like a she.

Maybe this will help..

I tried to offer some suggestions, but Rhea made it clear what the path was.. all the way to the bottom. Eventually, I just gave up and figured if somebody was going to be a go-off artist, they may as well stop by and drop off some cash.

IMO, you had better be damn good at finding a game(you can win) or you had better be damn good at winning(master+), or you'd going to get cut down to size "on the road".

And if after 3 years on the road and keeping company with players that can give you a few pointers along the way, this statement right here speaks Volumes on the subject of Hustling on the Road.

You either have it or you don't.

She does have the sleeping outdoors part down well tho. If I am going to do that, I would prefer it done in a tent. Heck, I have even slept on the floor of my boat once. But I have an upper and lower deck so easy to sleep 4 on the floor if necessary. Pull the tarp over and instant tent.

I'll have you know she sleeps in vacant trucks, if at all possible!!!:p

The thing that still cracks me up is a C-maybe B player going "on the road". Ive seen legitament short stops get busted "on the road". If you want to put yourself out there, you either have to be a very strong bottom feeder, or play pro speed and be able to match up right if youre planning on playing whoever.

Laugh all you want, Rhea's posts were some of the most read on here in recent times. Flappy Bird is an idiotic game but it still made the guy tons of money.
