Just a short question that may have already been answered on some other post. Does the Rhino carbon fiber shaft have that foam filling that the other carbon fiber shaft makers talk about?
I think rhino is going to change the cf market here in the states. Without question. Price, quality and hit in one package. Why pay 400 plus for anything else??my friend, wo builds his and my own hommade CF-Shafts, accidently orderd some un-filled blanks..
after an intense brainstorming and some beers we agreed to fill it with small (3 to 6mm) polystyrene balls, and stuff them with a little pressure..
The shafts do sound better than any foam-filled I tried.... and play very well
Spoke to the only guy in Vietnam assembling carbon shafts, he knows the factory making these completely and shipping to Vietnam for resaleNot doubting you just curious as to how you found this out. I thought the tubes were China sourced but built in Vietnam. Either way wouldn't surprise me just curious. Nothing on the pkg but site says made in vietnam. There is a Rhino cue made in China but these aren't same co.
Name one. Possible but i kinda doubt it. Lots of outfits selling these. Most just buy tubes and then complete the shaft. A few make the whole shaft. Cuetec, WhyteCarbon and Predator make the whole shaft afaik. Not sure about Mezz and tiger.Wonder if the chinese company manufacturing the rhino shafts, is also manufacturing more reputable brands carbon shafts?.![]()
Is that the AffordableCarbon guy on FB?Spoke to the only guy in Vietnam assembling carbon shafts, he knows the factory making these completely and shipping to Vietnam for resale
NopeIs that the AffordableCarbon guy on FB?
Not sure which plant they are coming from, I'll find out, but they look different than othersWonder if the chinese company manufacturing the rhino shafts, is also manufacturing more reputable brands carbon shafts?.![]()
How do them proto revos play compared to predator revo ?My friend sources blanks from the same facility that prototyped the Revo, they finish identically. Final price on his are under 200 and they look like Revo shafts that fell off the truck
How do them proto revos play compared to predator revo ?
Any difference in deflection, power or stiffness ?
I heard from the horses mouth. Rhino shafts are 100% made in Vietnam, not PROC. I'd believe the company rep more than a competitor personally.

Looks like your 'guy in Vietnam' may not know as much as he thinks. Really think they'd take time to email a total lie? Kinda doubt it. No biggie tho, thing is made well and plays great. At least its not made in California. I'd send it back if it was.I have a bridge to sell you, don't listen to anyone else on this matter
Only $1000
