If the shafts were thicker than 12.5 you may have received some.. Tough sale for that much with such thin shafts. I like the cue though.

i have never hit with a black what do they hit like? i have always liked the idea of a black but never had a chance to run one around the block

I honestly mean no disrespect to Richard Black but I've played with quite a few of his cues and in my opinion there are some that play great and others that do nothing for me. I would be leery of buying a Black cue without being able to hit a few balls with it first. Same goes with Joss West. I respect both of them immensely but that's just the way things are.

I have played with a lot of Richard Black cues. I think since this cue was made in Richard Blacks prime, it will play very solid. His cues don't have any deflection in them. Someone buy this cue. So I don't have to. My wife will kill me. LOL.:D

This cue was refinished by richard black 2 years ago and their is a real tiny dent on one of the points so small I have had tough time getting a picture of it. This cue has a real solid hit and it does shoot very straight

The Ferrules Don't Appear To Be Ivory, Or The Proper 1" Length. When, And By Whom Were They Replaced?

I don't know much about cue I traded an area player for it all I was told is that it had been refinished 2 yrs prior. All I know is it hits real solid and is a good player
