The owner brought this to my house when it was brand new. Its a very nice cue and if I'm not mistaken the buttcap is also ivory which should be mentioned because thats a big upgrade for a Black cue. Can you post for sure if that is ivory.

The owner of this cue sold his Richard Black Shafts.

I'll check with him on the butt section as to being Ivory or not.

Country Bob and DD, thanks for your comments.

Tom

Nice looking Bushka, good luck with the sale.

I do wonder why the cue was sent to Tascarella for work instead of sending it back to Richard Black. Nothing against Tascarella, I'd feel the same way if one of Pete's cues was sent to Richard. It just makes no sense to me not to send a cue to the builder instead of someone else for work.

Lets make some offers

I spoke to my friend regarding this RB cue and he is willing to listen to some offers.

The butt plate is Ivory, and the cue does have an extra set of rings. So shoot me some PM's with some offers, this is really a beautiful cue.

Thanks - Tommy

Dont blame him ...

I have to admit - I have a Richard Black I had everything done on (refinish, re-wrap etc..). When I got it back it was a really poor job - I resent it back to him he apologized and couldnt believe he sent it out that way. I got it back a second time and still wasnt thrilled - I think Black's work towards the end of his cuemaking career was sub - par. I was told recently his son took over - have no idea if thats true or not. This was just my experience with Black. Have heard similar stories from others.

and even more mysterious...

Why did the owner of this cue sell his two original shafts - then have Tascarella make 2 new ones?

Meanwhile, that may bear little relevance on your sale but does remain curious.

A very nice looking cue, by the way.

GL with the sale.

Best,
Brian kc

Kickin Chicked, he didn't like the way the RB Shafts hit. :)

Tom tell the rest of the story. You beat him really bad and he blamed the shafts.

It is a very nice cue and those shafts really make it unique. Am surprised that he is selling it.

He sold the RB shafts he can sell the Tasc shafts.

Kickin Chicked, he didn't like the way the RB Shafts hit. :)

Tommy, After following this thread for a bit, I think maybe your friend should consider my offer on the butt only. g.l.
