Next Saturday at 3 p.m. the player auction will start at Ride the Rail for their annual Coca Cola Open. Over 100 players participate in this tourney every year. The entry fee is $10 plus you split quarters in a nine ball tourney. Race to 7 in the winners bracket and race to 5 in the losers bracket double elimination. NO AA PLAYERS.

One Sunday the big boys tournament (OPEN TO ANYONE), anyone can play it starts at 5 p.m. and goes well into the night. I will post the flyer later on this thread. Both tourneys pay out well over $1000 and there is plenty of action on side bets or just playing someone you think you can bet.

Stay tuned for a PDF of the flyer after I go down to the pool hall and get one. They have NO alcohol but have beverages and snacks plus there is a DQ and St Louis Pizza and Wings accross the mall. Less than a 50 yard walk.

always a good tournament. might make it up there sunday morning, not sure what the wknd holds for me as of yet.

I will have a scan of the flyer up by Monday Night

Busy at the AZ Cardinals game tomorrow but Monday I will get a flyer and post it. Most important fact is it starts at 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Action

I will definitely be there and would hope to play some banks or straight pool on the Gold Crown IVs they have in there...preferably on the front three with Simonis cloth. Nothing too crazy on the bets but will be respectable action.

Tourney Flyer for this weekend

You can IM me and I will forward you the Flyer. It is 110K and exceeds the forum size limit by 10K?

Sorry.

Maybe this file will work?

I am trying this again. Zipped file seemed unreadable.

Unique LARGE Calcutta

In the auction. The blind bids, and every other player once purchased get to place their name anywhere on the tournament board they want. So, if you are the 10th or 11th you can place your name on the board away from the known better players.

No chip drawings, no cards. You place your name where you want it. So if you want to go cheap sign up early so you can get your spot after all the favorites pick a spot. Or go ahead and attack the best and go for broke. It is only 10 bucks for entry.

Saturday 3 p.m. Telegraph Road, just off 255

The tournament is fast approaching and ALL non AA players are welcome. The player auction should be a good one. Usually the auction pays twice what the tournament pays so bring a couple hundred and buy a horse or two.

See you there/ bump to the TOP:eek:

Hi Mark...

Am i allowed to play on Sat ???? Let me know if you can.... Its winter time and i want to play again... See ya,

What odds can I get if I pick Dustin Dunham to win the tourney and give you the field?

I'm thinking about it...I haven't played it in a couple of years and for once our family Thanksgiving plans actually took place on Thanksgiving so I've got the weekend free...lol

It is pretty slow there in the afternoon's.

She probably practices or is going to give Randy a ride to the tourney?

Are you going to play?

Are you going to try and outbid me for the BLINDS?

How about we just buy him and share the money?
Instead of getting in a bidding war.

If Dustin plays Saturday, Jamey should not have an issue getting in the tournament but you would know more about it since you have a direct line to the man.

:wink::wink::wink:

U will have some money after I see you anyway, more than you walked in the room with.
