Rieper Cue??

I picked this cue up for little money off an auction site. Even though it was cheap it doesn't feel cheap, it appears to be well made and laser straight. There appears to be a stamp on the forearm, it is very faded but it look like "Rieper Co". Anyone have some info on this cue / manufacturer? Could it just be a well made cheap import cue?

Curious if anyone here knows any info about this cue?

I think it looks really interesting, and I love the style of the points, and veneers.

Looks really old. Antique? I do not know.

To answer my own question, I believe that these cues were made in Japan. I am not positive about that though.
