Buffalo Danny. Played him 9 ball I think in Florida the winter of 69-70. Interesting guy. I had no idea who he was at the time and wondered why he kept wanting to switch the game to one pocket or 14.1. Very much an old school guy in the best sense of the word. RIP Danny. Can anybody verify that he was living in Florida, or at least passing through at the time?

Danny played a lot at the Congress in Miami.

Very sad news. Danny DiLiberto is one of the first commentators I got to listen to when introduced to Accu-Stats VHS tapes... Years later I learnt about his boxing career, and his other abilities (thanks those guys who decided to write their books and told some stories about Danny as well!) Great personality, pure athlete and a fighter for the lifetime. Have a good rack with those late Hall-of-Famers, Danny!

My condolences to Danny's family. When I was in college in Miami, Danny & Marcel Camp taught me how to play straight pool. It was a long wait between turns! They were both gentlemen and fabulous players. RIP.
