Probably more as a fan by the way she held the cue.

Wow, sorry about that. Ive seen those pictures a lot and I assumed it was Queen Elizabeth.
To much royalty over there. I hope they all like snooker.

Yes, the queen mother was also beloved until she died some 20 years ago at the age of 101. Actually, she was greatly associated with horse racing, especially Royal Ascot.

As for the queen, she was an enduring and shining symbol of a great nation. She'll be missed. My mother, who grew up in London, was among those lining the streets during Elizabeth's coronation close to 70 years ago.

It's a sad day indeed.
