Rip Tall Jeff Sparks

We lost one of the best players of my time in the late 60's and early 70's. Passed away last Thursday 6/4 from complications from lung cancer, he was 82 and a great guy. I called about 6 weeks ago and he said he'd lost a 100lbs in the last year! From 270 to 170lbs.

Told me he hurt everyday and was ready to go! I called him again a few weeks ago and had a good bull sh-- session with him, never knew he had cancer! What a loss, a legendary player and great guy. Was as good a nine ball player as anybody back in the day. My condolences to his family. I'll miss him!

RIP my friend

Rest In Peace Jeff

When we lose our good friends as we age, words can't replace the sorrow felt. May the memories you've gathered over the years bring you comfort and keep your friend's spirit close to your heart. Rest in eternal peace, Tall Jeff.
