RKC & Cloth stretch

I was just wondering how many table mechanics use staple guns for the bed cloth? I had the pleasure of watching Glen come out and work on my table a few days ago and I was able to see something that I could not believe.

Glen has a measuring method of how much pull to apply from side to side and from end to end. I have never seen anything like this before until now. This cloth came out TIGHT! (did I mention, NO STAPLES) Glen, how in the world did you come up with that style and technic of stretching the cloth? It is F'n incredible...

I guarantee that once this procedure of stretching the bed cloth gets into the main stream, it will be text book...

Everyone here already knows about your sub-rail work, so I will not even get into that, I'll just say.....my pockets are tight ;) Thanks RKC...

Brian:)

PS. I also want to thank Donny aka: (SDbilliards) for finding some free time to come out and work with Glen so things could go extra smooth.

Once I get done working on this GC2 here in Vegas, I'll have a chance to post some of the pictures of the work done on your table. Working with Donny was a real pleasure:D in fact, I liked working with Donny so much, that I invited him to work with me again installing 2 Gabriels 10ft billiards tables in your neck of the woods next week:D he has no idea as to what he's in for...lmao. And I'm also going to work with Donny recovering 3 Valley bar tables next week so we can go over the recovering process for bar tables. Anyone that gets Donny to work on their pool tables is going to be very happy, he's a real gentleman and a tradesman to boot;) His work is top notch;)

Glen, it was a pleasure working with you this weekend. I have already started applying the tricks and techniques you taught me. I'm currently recovering the tables at Yankee Doodles in Santa Monica. I used your techniques for rail work and pulling the bed cloth, it will take a while before I can get the cloth as tight as you. I thought I was doing top notch work before and now my tables are playing alot better. For any of you skeptics out there, Glen is the real deal.

I have 2 Diamond 7ft bar tables to recover here in Vegas on Monday, then I'm heading back to your area in Las Angeles to deliver 2 Diamond 7ft ProAms, are we still on for Tuesday to recover the 3 bar tables we talked about?
