Mr. Harris publishd an apology.....it was well composed.......and sounded very sincere to my reading.......NUF CED!
It takes a lot of fortitude to write something that does not portray the writer as a good guy.......in fact, it takes a lot to resist denial and quarreling with your attackers........I think I probably caught Mr. harris on a bad day when I wrote to him about the logo........and all of us have had bad days........and it's tough losing a parent.........and the passage of time takes awhile for the hurt & sorrow to diminish.
Mr. Harris, you jumped up several rungs on my ladder of respect with your post. Thank you for coming forth to comment and your post was entirely well recived by this reader and I encourage.....I beseech....your other critics to calm down and let's just get back to the business of cue-making and Mr. Harris has created some dazzling cue butt designs.
On another note, I notice that you seem to prefer to use Juma in your cue construction, instead of ivory. which is one of the reasons I've resisted getting one of your cues. I realize you can build a cue using ivory and just wondered whether you have found that Juma plays similar to ivory? Personally, my thinking is that a lot of the cues I've seen on the Forum made by Mr. Harris would be even more top notch if Ivory was used instead of Juma........there's been a couple that I was really attracted to but the Juma diminished my interest.
Mr. Harris has expressed an apology and that should be adequate to quiet the ruckus and like I wrote earlier, he elevated his image with me by doing so.
