The Swiss Open Eurotour stop will be held in Payerne (Switzerland) from Thursday to Saturday.

Why don't Rodney Morris and SVB take part to this event ? They are in Europe for the world cup of pool wich ending today. I think it would be great to have these players in one Eurotour stop. I'm sure they can get a spot...

Us open starts Saturday/Sunday.
 
US Open has guaranteed to EPBF that the players participating on the Eurotour will get a later starttime at the US Open.

How about those "yankees" as you say - by the way where was Norway in the World Cup of Pool ?? - thought you and the daughter of Odin would be playin for Norway. :grin: :grin:

What are the payouts?

Anybody know what the payouts are for 1st through 4th at the Eurotour stop? If they are very low I would think that it would be better to be in Chesapeake getting over the time difference and relaxing a bit prior to the Open.
 
The payout are about :

1. 7500 $
2. 5000$
3. 3000$ (2x)
5. 2250$ (4x)
9. ...
payout until 33th

256 players field, race to 9 alternate break, double elimination until the last 32.

The winner gets 6000?, which is at the moment about 8000$ (used to be almost 10 000$ some time ago..)
The 3rd for example gets 2500? = 3300$ (which used to be like 4000$ in near past..)

5-8 - 1.480,00 Euro
9-16 - 1.000,00 Euro
17-32 - 764,00 Euro
33-48 - 100,00 Euro

I heard that the prize-money will increase but not now !?! :confused:
 
Niels Feijen decides to not play the Eurotour, because of the US Open.

Decided yesterday I'm not gonna play the next Eurotour and will focus only on the US open. They are too close together to recover from the travel and jetlag. Don't want to be 70% at the Open but the full 100. Feel I had to make a choice and the Open means more to me.

Leave this Friday :)
