I don't think 11% of my pay check would make me very happy. I certainly wouldn't shout with joy. Linda, I am sorry but I gotta ask, are you on the IPT payroll? One check for 11% after a two month wait. Excuse me but I think I would have had my vehicles repoed and my house eviction notice in hand by now. That wouldn't cover the late fee on my mortgage. I honestly don't think that would pay the expenses of the majority of the players. Get real gal!!!

Purd, for once I agree 100% with you. Now, if we could just work on that political thing...
OK, I gotta defend myself. I am NOT jumping for joy!!! Again, we were not told the truth and they are going to be monthly payments for 3 months (the original thirds arrangement) and then the rest ?????? My husband and I are NOT happy for all the drama imposed and this latest reneging on the weekly payments.
And NO I am not on the IPT payroll. When would I ever get my check? LOL.
What we might find acceptable, is that there is an underlined sentence that says that 100% due to the players from the WO will be paid. In my mind, that legally should stick, but again, we are being cautious and running it by legal counsel.

To put 11% in a different perspective, it means they paid out $330,000 and although it is a far cry from the total owed it is still not chump change. Prior to the IPT if someone announced a tournament paying out $330,000 you would have had poolplayers from all over the world tripping over themselves to play in it.
