No offense to Drago, but I would not call him a recognised champion. I believe he has yet to win a snooker ranking event in his career.
I have played on only a handful of full-size snooker tables in the US. I can tell you that not one had pockets anywhere near as large as the dozens I've played on in Europe. And I'm not counting Big Bertha, the tricked up Hard Times table.TheOne said:From what I have seen and been told most of the snooker tables in America have much bigger pockets than in the UK, with many actually have pool pockets!
Fred, you really can't judge pocket sizes from TV, you should know that..

Pool players (players that have hardly played snooker) have ZERO chance to compete with a snooker player.

"Hi fellas, well i defo watch Efren beat Jimmy and made 2 centuries.....and heard that later (after i had gone) he beat Ronnie and made 1 century....all with his pool cue.
But to be fair to the snooker players, the table was not anything like what they are used to.....it had wool for cloth, and the pockets were very big for a snooker table....but then again you cant take anything away from Efren!"
I am sure Efren would be quite adept at Snooker, but it appears as though the table they played on wasn't a "proper" table. I am sure Efren would play Snooker pretty good though and could possibly make some sizeable breaks on a good table. Over a long race, I really doubt he could cope with Jimmy, Ronnie or any other top player.

The loser picks up all the expenses for the set up of the match, flights, hotels, venues and so on. All expenses will be split evenly until the match is decided. We will put $30,000 in escrow should anyone care to accept this challenge. That's 20 for the bet and 10 for expenses. Efren has also not been contacted about this so we reserve the right to nominate any other "pool" player for the challenge. Any snooker player ranked 70 to 82 on the "main" tour as shown by http://www.worldsnooker.com/players_rankings.htm can get this bet.
Any takers?

Efren would be 1/14 on to win that challenge, I don't think there's a single 3C table in the UK.onepocketchump said:Would anyone reading this care to bet $20,000 US Dollars putting the #81 snooker player in the box at a race to seven in snooker and a race to seven in one-pocket against Efren?
