i think he delivers the cue as good as Efren, his white is live when it goen int othe stack more so than anyone else to devlope reds, Hendry might have more accoliads et but for the $$$ i'll take Ronnie(on a good day)

Ronnie is truly a natural Cueist and when in full flow is the most difficult to beat. He won the Northern Ireland trophy recently at about 80% form and still looked way above the rest.

I was reading a comment on the Snooker Scene blog where Dave Hendon begged the question - could Ronnie do the Grand Slam of all ranking events in one season?

If he can maintain his mind and stay focussed on the task he will be difficult to beat!

I personally feel Ronnie is the greatest player to ever hold a cue, not just in snooker. No one has ever made such a difficult game look so easy.

But I highly doubt he or anyone else could accomplish such a feat. Simply because he needs to keeps his emotions on an even keel for an entire season, something that I doubt anyone could do. On top of that the overall level of play of his competitors is such that, anyone could beat him under the right circumstances.

That said, I wouldn't bet against a grandslam of the Snooker majors, Uk Championship, Grand Prix, Masters and World Championship.
