The other week Andy interviewed Peter Ebdon & Peter said he spent 4 weeks practising with Ronnie prior to last years World Championship's & that Ronnie was playing snooker from another planet in practise , even better than the Ronnie who won the World's.

Last week Andy interviewed Joe Perry & he said that Ronnie is about the only player that everybody else would rather avoid in the draws but somebody's got to play him.

What's the reason that I'm posting this ? Well Andy has an interview booked with Ronnie O'Sullivan soon but right now Noel Gallegher is giving his interview on his views , mostly football related .

Roger 'The Dodger' (R.I.P. I miss him dearly , my Greyhound Guru.) asked me if I ever watched sport on TV with the sound turned down or off all together.

To this dude it sounded a strange question & of course I said no.

Try it said Roger , with any sport you like to watch because the commentators are only giving their views on what they see and think but when you turn the sound off you can make up your own mind & it might help when you next fancy a bet on that sport.

Sound advice and sometimes I watch sport on TV but turn the sound off and put the radio commentary on.

So I gotta agree I'd much rather see Ronnie play but turn the sound off when he speaks as it does get tedious.

Spending a little time on the inside, it was easy to see the pressure and attention being applied at an early age, lot's of hangers on and what not then the turmoil of having Ronnie Sr banged up, there is a lot to consider how it affects a young kid.

His father, a porn shop operator, was jailed in 1991 for murder, his mother in 1996 for tax evasion.

In 1996 O'Sullivan was fined 20,000 pounds and suspended for two years for:
Attacking a press officer in Sheffield
Pissing inside the Plymouth Pavilions
Obscene language in a players lounge

"I was a rebel. I was bitter. I had gone through a s***ty time."

In 1997, a blood test proved him the father of the daughter of a former girlfriend.

"I was a virgin when I met him, but we waited until I was sixteen before we did anything, He was a nice lover and a really nice bloke."

News of The World asked readers to contact them if they knew of a father meaner than Ronnie.

"Do I see the baby? Nah."

In 1998 O'Sullivan was stripped of the Irish Masters title because he flunked a drug test.

"I won here before. I hope to win it again. I mean, smoking a joint isn't going to enhance my performance. I know I still won it. But rules are rules."

In 2000 he spent 5 weeks in rehab.
