What exactly are you looking for?
This place has all kinds of stuff and you can get small orders. I think they have a minimum of $100.00. They are good about sending samples as well.

The Prather 1' inch bumper with the 8/32 screw would be perfect except I need it to be .750 rather than .1" as made.
I cut my butts a little slimmer than normal .1125 rather than .1250.
I want to bury the bumper 1/4 inch but the butt walls cant handle a serious bang on the floor withour fear of fracturing the butt cap.
Am trying now how to sand or shave the 1" down to .750 and still have it look good.
Hey' it's not easy being stupid.

The bumpers are a lot easier to work with if you freeze them. Just throw one in the freezer for a few hours and it will cut just like wood.

.1125" is kinda thin.
OK, 1.125 is still very thin.
Any reason ?

Yeah, I have a habit of sprinkling periods and decimal points on my messages and wherever they land......
The 1.125 came from a cue that I built for myself and kinda wanted a slightly thinner butt thickness. Other players thought they liked it as well and so I started building them that way.
The boy'os that buy them seem to like them so I keep doing it.
KInda like the definition of insanity where you keep doing the same thing over and over while thinking you will get a different result.
To add to my madness I also make my cues at a 59' inch length. Dare I say it but some at 60".
I figure that they have been making them at 58" for a long long time and players are bigger these days than 50 years ago so......
Is'nt that the way Balabushka started?
All kidding aside, it's a delight to be able to speak with all the great cue makers who frequent this site. You guys are a wealth of information and I am pleased to receive the feedback you give me.
Thanks

Yes, the freezing of the bumper permitted me to sand it down nice and tidy
Thanks for the tip

I just got the new 2012 Mueller catalog today and they have 20 bumpers listed on page 138. Also a bunch of cue building stuff on their previous pages that they never had before

In the past, I as well as several other makers use this company & are quite pleased with price, service, and product. Be prepared when you place an order though...if I remember correctly I think you have to order at least 500...or maybe thats the were the price break kicks in. Either way...quality bumpers made from quality rubber. Not the soft squishy type offered by some billiard supply vendors.

The 18/18-W recessed bumper should fill the bill.

Deadnutz has the meucci originals pill bumpers which are .750 and look great.
