OK here is what happened...my teammate broke and sank a ball.. then shot and scratched... the opponent then shot and scratched... My teammate took ball in hand near the foot of the table and made a shot... the opponent called foul claiming that you must shoot from the kitchen on an open table..
my argument was the rules state its only in the kitchen immediatly after a break shot. thus being 3 shots into the game my teammate has BIH.
this is under VNEA rules basically BCA rules with a few minor variations. most dealing with 8 on the break and things of that sort..

I am thinking B.6 rules in our favor even if the opp is right.. but I don't think it matters as my teammate had legitimate BIH..
