Today, at the Hard Times (Sacramento) monthly 9-Ball Tournament Player #1 fouled and incoming Player #2 had "ball in hand" (with four object balls left on the table) ... He picked up the Cue Ball in his right hand and, as he moved it uptable, his right hand contacted the 6 Ball sending it about 2 feet uptable ... Player #1 jumped up and yelled "Foul" ... The TD was called, a heated discussion ensued, and the TD declared No Foul had taken place since the declared Tournament Rules stated "Cue Ball Fouls only" ... I was only an observer but witnessed the incident first hand and it looked like the Cue Ball actually bumped the 6 Ball uptable, but it was none of my business so I kept quiet ... Both players were on the hill and Player #2 won the set by running the rest of that rack ... Has anyone else here observed something exactly like this and what was the outcome ...
