Does anyone have the details of the Rum Runner tournament in Las Vegas. Is it bar table? When is it?
 
Hi Yobagua,

The Rum Runner tournament has been kept "secret" for the last couple of years. Too many top ten players have shown up to try to "steal" the event. The event is March 24,25 & 26 at the Tropicana Rum Runner. The player auction is Thursday night. Entry is $150 this year. Format is race to six on the bar box, winner breaks, double elimination, limited to the first sixty four paid entries. My biggest beef is the use of the Sardo Rack. I would call direct to the Rum Runner and ask for Gino. Good luck. Nice to see you posting again.

That's a fact! It is nice to see you back and always good to hear from my buddy Lyn too! Can't wait to see you in VF!
 
are you sure those are the right dates? when we called they said it was March 31st, April 1st and 2nd.

I'm in Rochester this month. Those were the dates called to me by a friend entered in the event. If they are incorrect, I apologize for posting erronious information. I knew I should have stayed in Vegas a while longer!:eek: Sorry Yobagua.

i'm not going to the rum runner anyways but i was actually curious what the dates were to see if they conflict with another tournament i was planning on attending. any chance you can confirm the dates for sure?

Glen Atwell is planning on going and he told me the end of March to 1st of April sometime.
