Safest International Shipping?

Hello Folks, I am looking for advice on shipping overseas. I have to ship a cue to Taiwan no ivory to be concerned about. What is the best shipper to use? Is it better to have the shipper do the packaging? Please let me know what experiences the AZ community has had. I am considering either Fed Ex or UPS but am open to all suggestions. The cue will be shipped to a business not a residence if this matters.
Thanks,
Dan

Dan,
Spend the extra money and go with FedEx, eventhough USPS Express Mail is cheaper. Sign up for a FedEx account and they will give you some discount (10-15%) for international shipping. Hope that helps.

I use DHL, Fedx is also good , I just find they are about the same speed, but DHL is a little less expensive (apples to apples meaning if you have an account with both)
USPS is the cheapest, but so is their tracking system.
You will find in some cases the package may clear customs in minutes or days...just depends on the country's back log.
Best of Luck,
Dom

The problem with DHL, Fedex and UPS is that they charge automatic handling fees and tax once the package hits its destination country..

Handling alone is usually USD50 min....... :)

If safety is your primary concern, Fedex is probably best, then UPS or DHL.

If the Post Office loses a package it is very difficult to file a claim. And they are more likely to lose a package than the private companies.
