Safety play idea from Efren and Niels

Here is a good way to play safe off a frozen ball that lots of players overlook. As Niels mentions, it works best if the object ball is frozen or nearly frozen. The cue ball path is very predictable with a little practice.

? Bob in the 1960,s do you know the major pro tournaments ? In the USA... Guy , Thank you...

Spotting the simplest, best safety is probably my biggest weakness. I'm always impressed how creative the top pros are with their safe selections. There are typically lots of choices for safe, but finding the simplest, highest probability safe can differentiate a good player from a great player.

Here is an example of Ronnie playing this safety shot, at 3:40.

Thanks for this. Always good to see in a game situation. I’m going to have to look for and recognize this ‘way out’ when playing Snooker. There should be good opportunities to use this shot bringing the white back to bulk.
