I've been looking into various systems lately, and was wondering if someone could point me to anything (book, website, thread, i even heard sailor had his system on a card or something) that will properly explain his system to me. Or, if possible, and you know for certain your information is correct, post a desription of it here.

I very much appreciate any help.

I was taught Sailor's aiming system by Port Chester Mickey Carpinello, a really great undercover player. It's the only one I know of that has "throw" compensation built into it. I have included his (Sailor's) aiming system in my book, Banking With The Beard, along with a rare photograph of the master on p.2. Sailor did have a little aiming apparatus made of card stock that he used to sell to his students. The only remaining ones are in the hands of the man he spent his last few years with, a fellow named Herbert Lehmann. I have been trying to get one from him for 2 years, with no success.
Read the book.

Aim on, brother!

You just gave away a secret

Freddy the Beard is a class guy who has given up lots of secrets in his book. He has made us all better bank players as a result.

As far as aiming systems, especially one that compensates for the collision induced throw (Freddy's terminology), I would suggest you call the guy who made your cue!

Johnny Maden has patented the "SAM" aiming method, and Jack is always willing to share his vast knowledge of the game, especially his customers or players who play with his cues!

I have been studying Mr. Bentivegna's book for about a month now and it is fabulous! There is so much info that it is almost overwhelming. Freddy if you ever get hold of the card for aiming PLEASE count me in for a copy!!!
Thanks for a GREAT instructional book...

Does Freddie have a VHS, or DVD, as it take me for ever to read anything...

As far as I know it is only in book form. But it is well laid out and an easy read (lucky for me he includes lots of pictures :D )

I am not one of those lucky people that can set down and read a book in a day. I tend to read slow and think about everything that I am reading. I have read SEVERAL books on pool and have gotten to the point that I read a book with the hopes of getting one thing out of it.

That one thing is normally worth the read, it can either be a tip for my game or a different way to word something for someone that I am trying to help.

Freddys book was a great surprise for me as I found SEVERAL things that will help me to become a better banker (as long as I take the time to really learn and apply them).

If you really enjoy the game, and want to improve your banking, forget the Im a slow reader stuff and just go get the book.
