Sailor's or Perry Weston's ? cue ID needed

There is no names on any of these 3 cues.
All of the cues had a flared but cap.
One cue is a Jump/ Break /Extension cue where the butt sleeve 1/2 a turn and slides back and half turn to lock fully extended .
The jump /Break /Extension cue has a 3/8 x 10 pin wood to wood joint

The other 2 cues have a 5/16 pins and I am not sure or the treads per inch.
both these cues as in the piloted shaft cues have 2 shafts each.
I forgot to put one shaft in with the pictures :o

Cue on the left is the jump break extension cue.

Anyone have a idea what these cues would be worth after we figure who made them ?

Mike, now that I see them I am more uncertain than when we talked.
The Weston's I've owned all had "Weston" on the butt cap. The type
of flare looks different to me also, but it could just be the angle at
which you shot the pics ? No Logo concerns me, but they may have
been removed during re-finishing by a careless craftsman.
I have a friend who was close friends with Perry. Maybe he can shed
some light on what you have there.

Sailor's or Perry Weston's ?

Over 30 years, I have never seen a Sailor with a piloted joint or any j/b. Not saying he didn't. Just haven't seen one.

Yes, I am fairly certain these are not Sailors. Mike and I have spoken at length
about these Cues and after seeing the pics I am concerned that someone else
is out there churning out cues that resemble Westons. Not fakes, just someone
who likes the flared butt cap. Even IF they are Authentic Westons, the absence
of the logo and/or a refinish kills the value.
Mike, can you take a pic of the flared butt caps from above, looking straight
down on them ? The shape of the flare will reveal more info.

Cues

How long are they and what is the size of the joint?

These cues belongs to a friend of mine who owns a pawn shop. he contacted me to see if I couldn't help him out with the ID on the cues and what they are worth.

The cues are at the pawn shop and I do not know for certain of there length.
They all look the same length and average length to me.
Educated guess would be 29 inches , but is still a guess.

The Jump break extension cue is 3/8 x 10 and honestly I think all 3 cues are made by the same maker, and how many makers use that style of steel extension?

The shafts are a 5/16 x 14 piloted .

Mike, I just heard from my friend in Pennsylvania who was good friends with Perry Weston.
He looked at your pictures and said he would bet that All Three are Real Westons. This guy
has owned lots of them, so I defer to his opinion.

I think so, too.....very early ones. The only other guys I can think of right now that used a similar flared butt cap are Tibbitts (GA) and Kitzmiller (TN). And I'm 100% certain these aren't theirs.

any Idea whet they are worth.

The plain ones should be between $350-500, the fancier one I'm not sure.

Perry weston fan

a dime to 15 hun to a PW fan

I guess I will find out how they shoot next week,

Some how all the shafts got mixed up so I need to take the cues next door to the bar and use the pool table and my calipers to get the rights shafts on the right butt.

I did think the Jump break Extension cue looked pretty handy.
Least the extension part of the cue.

Anyway I will shoot a couple of balls in with the cues just to make sure they don't have any funny sounds like a crack or lose weight bolt....................................................
