Just wanted to share our excitement from Pool School.

SAME AIM ( CTE Hybrid ) has been an over whelming success in Pool School this last month. We introduced SAME AIM to all our students since the end of August. This is following an intense trial period.

Every student to the last person has given rave reviews. Now a month later some are checking in with even better reports.

Thanks to Scott Lee and several other SPF Instructors for the in site needed to introduce SAME AIM. Truly Open Minded to say the least.

Glad to hear more success stories, especially from those in the trenches that are teaching it.
Must be pretty solid if it can be taught to players of various skill levels.

You say that it is a hybrid of cte. What is different and/or improved from the original version of cte?

You realize of course, that even though more and more people are learning and using it,
the usual attack dogs will be nipping and barking about how it won't work.

Both. SAME AIM is S.A.M. on Steroids. The next time we are together I will show it to you. Free to all Pool School students. It's the nuts!

Hi Jim

The attack dogs have been chaseing this car since we introduced SPF.

What's completely different about SAME AIM is that we took all the trash out. It is truly hybrid.

Hi there,

gratz to you Randy, and your *SPF Crew* ^^ Very nice to see, that you re having that much success with it and that the students having same fun as u did teaching it.

Today got my 2nd Date after my operation and now the doc gave his *OK* . So now i m allowed to learn to walk again- hope it takes not too long, til i ll see my first pool-table after 5 month now.....
And then will for sure have time to have a look at *Same Aim* :)

Hi Dave. Thanks to you SAME AIM is in place. Your demonstrations were the foundation.

Trash meaning needless movements either cue or body.

SAME AIM is: step up-warm up-shoot em up.

You should call it Spider Aim then! Honestly though, there's nothing I showed you that's meaningless. If I moved something, there's a reason. Unless you're good at visualizing radians, something has to move.
 
Randy...It was great being able to watch you 'work the bugs out' in our match at pool school in Fargo last month. In a close fought race to 9, 10 Ball match, Randy jumped quickly out to a 7-2 lead. Fortunately I played some great safeties, and put together a few runs, to get us hill-hill...and I clinched the match. Anybody who thinks instructors can't play, better watch out for the OLD guy from TX! :thumbup: I had a blast, and look forward to seeing you in Dallas in a month. I'm headed for Boston Wed.

Ya, you put together a couple of great run-outs. I though Instructors couldn't play....:-)


I will be waiting for you. I think we should do a "SAME AIM" DVD together. I will round up the rest of the SPF Instructors that live in the area when you arrive.

Boston is lucky....:-)

I think a new DVD is a great idea!!!!
 
Randy, give me an idea when your schedule would work to come out for a couple of days so we can offer the Same Aim instruction workshop to the east coast SPF instructors. I'll make sure we have a place to hold it, and will contact them all.

I have two players flying in this week end for a two hour SAME AIM lesson.

I had a few minutes last night at the pool room to work with SAME AIM. I was nailing it about 90% of the time, and will be continuing to refine it. This is really exciting!

I had 7 students on Wed. 3 in the morn and 4 afternoon. I will get their feedback in a couple of weeks......SPF=randyg
 
Is SAME AIM training available to past students

Hi Randy,

Is SAME AIM training available to former students for free? If so, is it something we would need to come by the school to receive or is there documentation you can provide? Thanks.
