Samsara Break Tip vs Black Diamond Break Tip

Hey everyone. I have a tip question that I would like some feedback from. I plan on purchasing a new break cue. I have the older pechauer break cue with the white diamond phenolic tip. I have had it since they brought it out. I am finding I am not breaking well with it as I used to. My cue ball control is less than what it was. My friend who I play league with crushes it and parks the cue ball with it. I plan on selling that to him and purchasing the newer version of the pechauer break cue. The cue comes with a black diamond break tip. I haven't seen any reviews on that. I have read plenty of reviews for the samara break tip. Does anyone have any feedback on black diamond tips and/or the new pechauer break cue with it?

Thanks guys.

I had a white diamond on my break stick. Switched it to samsara. Night and day difference. My breaking went up 100% it seems by just switching. Samsara is where it is at when it comes to break tips. imho.

sorry for some reason I read white diamond. Haven't tried the black diamond but can't imagine its better than the samsara.

I had a Samsara break tip put on on my Predator break cue. Wasn't all that long before a piece flew off during a break. It was a piece of the laminate. Fortunately, after reshaping, there was enough left to still be able to use. Anyone else ever have this problem?

Yes I had the middle section de-laminate and come off. Looked like I had a crater in the middle of my tip. I reshape it and it is fine. It was on an ob break cue. Breaks awesome but definitely is the stick too not just the tip.

not big fan of samsara tip- had it on BK2 and BK3. feels really bouncy

Had Black Dimond on Pechauer Break cue and it was pretty good

I had just the opposite experience. Had the Samsara on mine, started to come apart. Put on a white diamond, liked it much better (I controlled the cue ball better with the white diamond).

I broke with phenolic for years before switching to a samsara. I'm very impressed with the samsara. It is very controllable and I don't have to break at 100% power to get a good spread.
