some of my customers want these tips, does anyone have a good source for these other than normal ones.these are pricey to buy.pms are okay if you want thanks

I got mine from Atlas. I'm not a cuemaker, I'm a consumer. I wouldn't expect your customers want them because they're cheap, it's because they are excellent.
No telling how long one will last. The one on my break cue has never shown the slightest sign of mushrooming/distortion.
They'll be worth what you have to charge, or you probably need some new customers.

I just do not get it when people quibble over paying $15 to $20 for something that may provide excellent service & enjoyment for 6 months to 2 years.:confused:

They are worth every penny that you pay for them. People that try my break cue think it's phenolic until I tell them what's on there. All of them I've installed have never mushroomed or lost their shape. They are great tips.

I put a Samsara break tip on my break cue and love it. I would have cut it off in an instant if it felt anything like those phoney and wild phenolic tips.

Ive been doing repairs for a long time, most pool players want the best, cheap, simple fact

> I haven't tried the Samsara yet,but fully intend to. Our AZ homeboy cuetechasaurus has been giving out samples of a break/jump tip his buddy makes that is a STRONG product.

I've installed the one he gave me,and after maybe 6-700 racks broken, there isn't .001 worth of mushrooming, and WAY harder than any reasonable person can play with,it makes a glass-shattering type sound when hitting balls at normal pace. As far as scuffing it,anything less than a fresh Willards scuffer won't TOUCH IT,neither will a worn Tip Tapper. You damn well better use a fresh blade cutting and shaping it too, sharp carbide rather than HSS is also preferable.

From what I've been told about how the Samsara cuts and shapes,as well as it's performance,it's probably made about the same way, laminated and soaked in SOMETHING. When cutting the tip I described,it produces a ribbon or apple peel type chip rather than dust and shavings.

Bottom line is the ones he has are GOOD stuff, maybe comparable to the Samsara, maybe easier to get,and maybe a little cheaper. Tommy D.
