Samsara tip breaking???

The tipping popping off is not due to a faulty tip unless there is still a layer on the ferrule. That is the installer's fault.

I've also had the top layer come off. It's not a big deal though. Just reshape the tip and you're good to go.

The Samsara break jump tip is the best tip ever made. It has no equal..In matters of durability it has no competition..

I have a samsara tip on my TNT break cue made by koinnkid. Never had a problem with it since it was professionally installed.

Although, I initially tried I turn one of my junk viper cues into a break cue but I had the same problems with the tip coming off. After some research I've come to the conclusion that cheap ferrule material is the source of the problems. The viper cue had some cheap, soft PVC type material for the ferrule whereas the TNT cue has higher quality brown canvas phenolic.

Change the ferrule and you'll probably solve all your problems.

over a year and no problems...and I crush 'em. No separation, no problems, great control. Jumps great, too. Somebody at Pooldawg did mine when I ordered my McDermott NG01.

Jamison says it all, these tips work as designed.

If a tip comes off (Samsara or otherwise) have some else put on the next one.

If a Samsara tip delaminates contact Samsara.

My tip also had a big chunk break off. I reshaped the tip and it plays great again. Seems like a common problem with these tips.

If memory serves, Mike Gulyassy puts Samsara break tips on his Orange Crusher, among others. I'd say most problems are due to the installer.

Just had one installed. Tip man cut it down a bit after he put it on, said it should help with the problems some folks seem to be having. We shall see.

I've only broken with it a handful of times and so far so good.
I'll report back if I experience any issues.

I've had two tips come off in a year - to the date actually - both off the OB-Break shaft. Both from OB direct. :/ The 2nd time it tore part of the core of the shaft out. I still love the tip/shaft combo - I really do, but man that's annoying. I will fully admit I miscue on the break more than I should (I keep changing things and it destroys my timing when I do), but still; I'd expect it to hold up.
