Samsara

I don't care for their product, I have hit maybe 20 of their cues. More of a production type cue, than a custom cue. My 2 cents worth.

Subjective, rather like " does the Pope wear a funny hat"?

some might say yes.

They sure command a premium price either way.

Only two comments about the samsara cue. I want to buy one but I don't know how they are

i'm curious. "More of a production type cue, than a custom cue". in what way?

I am a Samsara dealer. They are a well made cue. Mostly custom not production. The bar cue they make is the only produstion cue they make on a regular basis. I sent you a PM the other day call me to discuss. Thanks

I have one and I think it plays ok.I like joss cues with a 314 shaft better. Now I think that they look great.I would not buy another one for the same price there are allot of other cues that I would perfer to own.Ok back to how they hit,I would say they hit more like my coker but JMHO.I don't know if this helps you out much.

Wow, so nobody recomends samsara cues.

WRONG....Samsara cues hit great in my opinion. and Mike Zuglan has 1 or 2 for sale as we speak. i like the workman ship and i love the hit. today, alot of their cues are pretty fancy and high priced. but in my opinion....well worth the money...................mike

Whoa, who said that nobody likes them?

My Samsara hit's like a ton of bricks, and I have a 314 for it. If I want to find out who the cue collectors are, all I have to do is show up with my Samsara to find out.

It's always surprising to me to find who is knowledgeable about fine pool cues.

i think they are nice looking cues.. there is one of two of them that i would like to own myself.. not to mention some of the more expensive ones... i think these guys do amazing jobs on their inlays and stuff.. really nice work that you dont normally see.. unfortunatly, i dont know anybody that has one.. so i never was able to hit with one.. but i would bet they play nice.. they usually have that big pin into wood so i imagine they are pretty solid..

I like the way that they look. They do have a look of thier own, However the samsara cues that I have hit with used a uni- loc joint. I am not a big fan of that joint. Whatever happened with you and your skip weston? I read a thread the other night and you said it was stolen. I dont know if you found it but I hope it makes its way back to you.
Best,

:-( It was taken from me. I got jumped by like 20 guys and they were all after the cue. I was only able to take on 19 of those guys but 20, come on. No one can take 20...... :-)

tell you what.. if 20 guys or so.. came after me for lets say, my paul mottey.. and i knew they were going to take it, i would rather use it as a beat stick then let somebody else take it from me.. lol you would get more statisfaction over loosing the cue that way...

psssst.. you sure when you went to get water from the bar for your medication you didnt have a few shots of 151! :P just teasing...

chris

tell you what I would rather tell that story then say I went to the bar to get water to take my meds.

Thats exactly what i would do as well! I think i'd throw a few pool ball in there direction first and then lay the smack down with the cue, i'm sure a 3/8x10 pin in the eye would make them think twice!

Nice to see you've got yourself sorted out with a new (and very nice) cue. Happy shooting with it!
