San Antonio Next Week

Hey Stones, and Ironman, or anyone else in the SA area.

I will be in San Antonio Monday night and Tuesday night the 10th and the 11th. I will be up in the Schertz area.

I am looking for a place to go shoot a few racks. Where do you all recommend that is not too far from me?
 
Sadly, I don't know schertz very well, but I'd definitely come shoot some with ya. I'm always down to meet AZ'ers.

I will be staying at the Hampton Inn on 35 and Natural Bridge Cavern Exit.

I normally just drive down to Hooligans to grab a bite to eat and shoot a couple racks by myself since I don't know where all the pool halls are at.

PM me and I will give you my number. I will be in class 8-5 on Tuesday and on Monday I should get into town about 4 or so.
 
You may need to make a trip into SA to get to a decent pool hall because I don't think anything worth while is out in that neck of the woods.

That sounds like a plan. If we do monday I think pool is free... it is at my Fast Eddie's

I had no idea a FE was there. Great location for pool hall.
 
I guess if I would have read I would have known where it is. LOL

That Fast Eddie's sounds like it will be about perfect.

I think we can shoot for Monday night if everyone is cool with that. We could meet up between 6 or 7. Something like that sounds good to me.

Does that Fast Eddie's serve food? I am going to be a hungry guy when I get there. LOL

I will give you all a call tomorrow or Monday on my way up to SA.

I think we have decided on Fast Eddie's Embassy tomorrow night between 6pm - 7pm. I will give you guys a call tomorrow about 4 or 5 pm. If tomorrow doesn't work out we can always do it Tuesday. Hell I might be there both nights. LOL
 
Hey, I stopped by embassy last night... did one of you guys that showed up have an orange shirt on? looked kinda like a hawaiian shirt?
 
We were looking for you, bud. We were playing on one of the 9' in the middle of the room. Can't tell you about the orange shirt cuz I'm color blind.

I was on table 25 against the wall right next to the corner most table by the Stripes poster. i was wearing a plain black shirt in jeans and I have an all black scorpion break cue and my sneaky that Mr. Varney made me. lol this probably doesn't help cus there's lots of people in a pool hall... hmm, I was the young brown guy? crayon tattoo on my left forearm?
 
Sorry we missed ya man. I didn't hear my phone cause the music was so loud. Me, Stones, Poolplaya9, and a buddy of mine that used to live in Corpus all got together and shot last night. I guess I should have told you what I was wearing so you could have found us, but if you would have asked the waitressess there where Stones was they would have showed you where we were. LOL

I might go again tonight, but I got to get some homework done before I can go. I will give ya a call if I take off over there. Might just go to Hooligans for some food and shoot a few quick racks.
 
Sorry we missed you Inzombiac. We were wondering what happened to you and looked for you. We were on the first table straight out directly in front of the entrance to the restrooms. I was wearing a light blue polo shirt. A friend of mine was wearing slacks and a tie. I couldn't tell you what anyone else was wearing. We were the only people sitting in the sit down area just outside of the restrooms. Have no idea where table 25 is and didn't notice any posters...lol. We'll do another get together sometime and come up with a foolproof way to find everyone. Hope to see you there.

I think I am off to Hooligans tonight over here by my hotel. I am kind of tired, and I want to get to bed early. I will shoot a few racks eat some grub and get to bed a little earlier tonight. LOL

lol I saw you guys too. There was a group right next to me that was such an odd assortment of pool players that I thought it HAD to be the AZ guys. No one seemed to know wach other so I thought it was you guys. I went to the bathroom 3 times too! lol right by your table.
