Any of you guys on here live in san antonio or close ?
I may be out that way over labor day .NA which is like
AA is having the world convention there this year.I will
need a place to go play pool .I will be close to river walk .
Any info is appreciated .

Banana's Billiards on the corner of San Pedro and Woodlawn is about a mile north of the Riverwalk downtown. It is the oldest pool room in the city with four 9' tables, a bunch of 8' and a few barboxes. It is the main action room in the city.

The action is mostly one pocket but if you like 9 ball, there are a few players to accommodate you.

The Texas State 9 Ball Championships will be in Roundrock ( a suburb of Austin about 70 miles north of San Antonio) over the Labor Day weekend. Corey, Gabe, Davie G. and a lot more are going to be there for it.

I'm the TD for the State tourney so I'll be in Roundrock from Friday through Monday but when you get into San Antonio give me a call @ 210 367-4765 and maybe we can get together and hit some.

wer u ther stones wen they filmed a bit of the movie at bannanas?im guesing u had to i was seat 15 i think that was a great day

Fast Eddies on NW Military drive is a nice clean place for a casual shooter. Bananas is a tougher crowd but great money place, used to be the prefered place for Vivian to play. I would steer clear of any place downtown for that matter and take the extra drive time and head north into the nicer side of the city.

I lived in SA for 25 years and played them all. I really like Fast Eddies tables since they actually take care of them. Oversized 8's though not 9's.
