As of Saturday, Malissa was beating the best SoCal men at Hollywood Billiards - way to go. ;)
 
Wally - Thank you so much! I am hoping to play well in San Diego...it is one my favorite events/venues.

LAMas - I had a good tournament at Hollywood. It was nice to play with the guys and hold my own. I just wish I had beaten Max Eberle today.....it would have been such a great win for me. Instead...it looks like Max is going to win the whole thing. He grabbed the hot seat in a hill-hill match with Glenn Bond from Arizona. When I left tonight, Glenn was playing Ernesto Dominguez to decide who would go to the finals.

Getting 9 to 7 to Max Eberle is a tremendous feat. You should hold your head high. I saw Max destroy Rodney Morris and Jose Parica when he won the Hard Times Jamboree 9 ball tournament. Max can be one bad boy. You'll get him the next time. Best of luck in SD.

Don't take this the wrong way...but who are you? Obviously you live in SoCal...and you mentioned in a previous post that you have watched me play in tournaments as well as gambling....so I am sure we know each other....

I watched Max vs. John Schmidt at the DCC and Max played absolutely perfectly. It was some of the best 9-ball I have ever seen.

Melissa, congrats on your strong play this past weekend. That should be a good warm-up for San Diego.

Okay everyone,

Like Sarah, I am off to San Diego for the next event!

Thank you all for the supportive posts and well wishes...I will do my best to make everyone proud.

I know Sarah will be posting from SD to let you all know how it is going. Hopefully she'll let me use her laptop to pop on and give you updates for me as well!
