make that 3, best tool i ever bought
but dont bug him until he finishes making my " thingamajig" for me,
dont want him to get sidetracked from my project

Tom Migliore (TNT Cues) makes very good ones also. They are a little pricey but they are useless if they aren't done with precision. His number is: 914 391-3464

hat's TNS cues. TNT is Troy, which I knew u knew that, but didn't want anyone to get confused.

One of these days, I'm gonna call John to make me these when I can afford it.

Hey guys,
Not trying to hi jack your post Trent but could somebody post a little on the use and purpose of the mandrels? I assume it's to perfectly match both sides of the joint by sanding to a finished size and keep all your cues and shafts consistent sizes? Am I close? A short video would be great.

you are right sir.

my plan is to get a set of these and a wolfgang spindle for my inlay machine here in the next week or so.

Two sets are the nuts. One is the sand to size and the other is the final finish size. Mine have .006 difference. I sand to.836 and then build finish to over .842 and then wet sand and rub out finish back to .842.
