WOW 8-5 she won and secured a visit to round 3! because she ahs a 56.88 winning percentage.

amazingly close matches and groups!
 
WOW, I have to say I am very impressed! Considering by my count there were only 15 (?) women in this tourney and 185 men and now only 60 players left. The odds were never in their favor but Sarah has really shown her stuff. I remember when she first started playing on NEWT someone said she was an amazing 8 Ball player, I guess she has proven that.
 
She is guaranteed $10,000 now. She would have to win in Peoria later this week to match that.

That is tough! I hope she can make some waves, but it looks like she's toast:-) Charlie, Gabe, Alcano, and Manalo are all playing amazingly well right now.

Sarah and Harper were tied with 3 match wins but Sarah had one more win than Corey. Her win percentage was also higher but I forget which stat they look at first.

Congratulations to Sarah!!!

She is most definately deserving of moving forward. She beat the living snot out of me in my first match of the day and put me in catch up mode. Tell you what, if she can improve her break, what a force she would be.

She's in some trouble now, she absolutely has to beat Ronato Alcano and then hope Gabe or Charlie don't win their last two matches.

It's looking tough, I still have hope she can advance to round 4.

That is a tough group, so either way she did a fine job, and will end up in the top 50 or 60 if she doesn't advance:-)

She is definitely a competator. She has a pretty strong background with 8-ball which helps a lot on this tour. She is also a very talented player, and I believe she has been working with RandyG for several months as well...and that can help just about anyone's game improve!
I wish her well...but she really is in a tough group this round.
