as a tour player is it difficult to meet new people outside of the billiards community?

Are the tournaments year round, do you ever just have time to just relax?

Which regions do you compete in?

Being a pool player I guess it is hard to meet people outside of the pool world. I spend pretty much all of my time in the pool room. Plus, I am very shy outside of the pool room. When I am there, I know that I have something in common to talk about with every person in the room.

There are only 8 WPBA tournaments a year. If you ask alot of people, they would say that I relax on a daily basis. I wish I had more things to do in my free time in between tournaments...exhibitions and whatnot. Usually in between tournaments I travel around to smaller tournaments. Hopefully things will pick up a bit here soon.

I compete pretty much anywhere there is competition. Lately I have been in the south alot, but I have made my rounds many different places. The only area that I haven't spent alot of time is the north east.

Thank you for reminding me of that. I know, I spent plenty of time in college...I am not a completely uneducated pool player. I plan to continue my education sometime in the near future. I am waiting to get settled somewhere that I will enjoy many years of my life. Plus, school will always be there. I am getting a chance to make a dream come true. Not many people can say that.

could you make me anymore jealous...pool is a dream job, but not everyone is born with natural talents such as the one's you display playing pool.

I would like a life size picture, like you can get for the pro football or baseball players. Then I can put it next to a pool table & you can just stand there & watch me run out. :p

Funny Chris...I think it is more my fault though. I should have used more stamps. Some of the people I sent photos to received them and others didn't. I am sending them out on Wednesday. Sorry again about the mix-up.
