Can anyone tell me what the deal is with the super billiards expo events as in are they double or single knockout and if you can play in the amature, pro/am and pro event without scheduling conflicts.

Thanks!

As far as the 1st question, there is no double elim. if you lose in the am open , theres a 2nd chance scramble for a $55 dollar fee..

As for your 2nd question ,Id imagine there could very well be schedule conflicts between pro-am,,and open am, although I cant be certain, but theres so many ppl Id imagine it'd be hard for them to keep matches from intersecting, just my opinion on question 2.

They are single-elim, but every match is best 2 out of 3 sets. I think each set is a race to 5.

the pro event is double elimination.

the amateur events are single elimination and, as Tim said, races are to 5, best 2 out of 3.

Tough to play in all 3.....

You would no doubt have conflicts (and possibly very early) if you were to enter Open Amateur, Pro-Am, and Pro events. Pro-Am is at night normally and this probably would not be hampered as much but if you play that good you should probably just enter the Pro-Am and the Pro events. I could definitely see overlapping of Pro event and Open Amateur......mostly because I sometimes can't get into the Pro Arena because I have a match in Open Amateur I have to play. Good Luck!
