An old friend of ours Maynerd past away last week and left my wife a few old pool and billiards gems. This stand up poster? advert card? is one of them, along with a first run Joss N7 (color of money cue). I know my wife will treasure it. The card measures about 16"x20" and has fold out leg on the back. Sorry for the crappy pics, I'm not too good with the digital!

The payouts were damn good back then! 20k for first in the mens Pro! and an appearance by Willie Mosconi to boot! I remember the first SBE vaguely, it's been a long time.

Enjoy

G.

This actually wasn't a Super Billiards Expo. This was just an event held at the Valley Forge Convention Center, sponsored by Coors apparently :)

I honestly don't know much about this event, other than what the flyer says... I was only 14 back then. However, I do know that the first Super Billiards Expo was in 1993, and it wasn't in Valley Forge. The first Expo was in Secaucus NJ, at the Meadowlands Convention Center (Ok, might not be the official name of venue, but def not Valley Forge)

I'll see if I can find out more info for you and post back here later....

Yeah, it was in Jersey and had that oval table thing that Corey won the juniors on. That was a riot.
