I know..I know another sbe thread but I'm just interested to see what everyone bought or wanted to buy but couldn't find. I really didn't buy much this year. here we go....

- I got the finger sliders ...the unglove. Works great. No more buying a new glove every other month.

-accurack. hated it at first but after using it for a bit you realize that it's the nuts. The thing just works. period....

-inside pool magazine... billiards digest wasnt there for my to renew as I usually do so I changed magazines. Sorry but I'm not paying 46 bucks to renew my billiards digest subscription online.

-leather wrap for my schonn. I forget what his name is but he's the first guy at the bottom of the stairs. Did a great job! Real leather...not pleather for 100 bucks.

-The advanced pro book...came highly recommended from some friends.

- predator shirt

- leather padded piece for the the shoulder strap on my case. It has memory foam in it and saved my poor shoulder. lol

I wanted some aramith ball cleaner but couldn't find any. I forgot to get dots and chalk damn it. I also was looking for a scruggs but everything i saw was loaded and out of my price range. I wanted a new pool jacket since I accidently left mine at the expo a few years back but can't seem to find anything I liked.

I bought wood and wood and epoxy impregnated woods, livecenters x3, radial pins, new lathe chucks and t shirts. The highlight of the trip was spending a 1/2 hour talking to Dennis Searing and Paul Dayton about the slotcutters I had sold them and getting free cue building tips from them, both great guys. I missed Royce from OB shafts everytime I got by his booth and didn't get to hit a ball all week. If I ever go again it will be Sunday only to catch the last day deals and watch the pro finals, the pro arena needs a lot of help to make it comfortable but vip helped some the 1 time passes were available.--Leonard

I forgot one very nice meeting, Gian (drawman) on AZ is a very cool and friendly guy as is TAR's Justin and Easye who was still on the winners side the last time we saw each other.

I had a lizard wrap put on my cue installed by Steve Lomax. I bought a q-claw finally. I got the cueshark tool which is awesome. I bought a cue for my fiance. And i bought a lot of alcohol on Friday night at that nightclub inside the Radisson which by the way don't go there on Fridays because it sucks. Saturday is their busy night!

Had a great time and will be returning next year for sure!!

I got a new Ostrich skin soft 4x6 case from John Barton. It is the perfect case for me. Just amazing craftmanship. The Miami and Metallica logos stitched on it.

I also purchased a new OB pro shaft. Love it!

I then bought some memorabelia for my pool room from Drawman. Two awesome autograph photos of The Miz and Strictland and then a shot of a young Mike Sigel. I mean early 20s young.

Lastly, I got a book on one pocket along with a DVD.

I bought a Blackcreek 09' custom cue, a cue claw, a tee shirt and a hat. Couldnt be happier with my cue!

Didn't buy anything yet, but I am going to order a custom 61" J. Pechauer cue. They look good and are resonably priced as well. Also going to go with a Jacoby Heavy Hitter 61" 25oz break cue. Going to order both tomorrow. Anyone have feedback on either?

Thanks,
Ryan

3 books - The Science of Pocket Billiards; Pool Wars by our Jay Helfert and Movements of Small Objects (or something like that). Finished Jay's book in 2 sittings flat. Highly interesting book.

1 Billiard Life towel for my OnQ Custom Case on order. It should be here by the end of the week.

A gross of blue Master chalk

2 Moosehead bridges

A t-shirt for my fiance ("Neptue Joe's Pool Room")

I looked all over for the type of bridgehead being used in the Pro 10-Ball matches, but no one I talked to had a clue.

Almost forgot, met AZer kaznj and gave him $12 for a copy of Hustler Days.

The bridge was on the first level the whole ever to the left wall. right with all the custom cue makers. In fact right beside the stand that sells neon lights and pictures.

I think they were calling it EZ Bridge. They had a booth on the main floor.

Here is the URL from the flyer. Web link from SBE may be wrong

as usual it was overwhelming.

I bought beer. Then I drank the beer with a few friends. After that I was drunk and I went to sleep.

Can't wait to see your new pickups - Both the Tonkin & the Zinzola.

Pete's competition cue looked awesome in his pics, but probably looked better in person - if that is possible!!!!

Make sure you give us a review on joe tuckers aiming system. I almost bought it but didn't pull the trigger.

Sorry no actual pictures. I recall it was machined aluminum and looked like a cross between a moosehead and the old Sasoon jeans logo, with a swivel. There was also a jump stand that the vendor claimed was BCA legal. *shrug*

During the tournament, I saw Ginky tried to use it but the swivel head kept flopping on him. He took out a moosehead and mounted it on his Predator break stick.

Pictures?
