SCAM Report

This is exactly why I always insist on express shipping with a tracking number when I buy and sell cues.

One time...even though I had paid for and insisted on trackable shipping, a seller thought he would save himself $4 (!) and ship it via the non-trackable method. Guess what happened? What should have arrived in 3 days instead took 16, and in the meantime we had no idea if it was lost, and it was stressful for us both. Hope he didn't spend the $4 all at once.
 
Alberto, now that we know what happened, I hope you can posts some pictures if & when you receive the cue.

I DON'T FEEL ALBERTO IS OWED ANYTHING. THE ERROR WAS NOT THE SELLERS FAULT. I FEEL THAT THE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK SHOULD BE WITHDRAWN FROM E-BAY. I'M JUST GLAD THAT EVERYONE HAS NOW SEEN PROOF OF WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED.

Maybe I'm missing something but if you look at the first post of the thread it MIGHT say the shipper made a mistake on the address. A lot of cues being shipped, etc.etc. If that is the case and you were Alberto, would you want an adjustment? I would and then I would leave proper feedback:)

Beware of this seller!

I payed for the cue (Juli, 2nd) via paypal, and some days later, the seller told me that the cue had been sent. I asked for a tracking number, but never recieved one.
After i had sent several mails without reply, to locate my cue, i gave him the look-out, that i´d accuse him for scaming on ebay and trying to get my money back from paypal.
He replied, that he had evidences that i must have recieved the cue, and that my impudent accusation will be reported to ebay.

A few weeks later, i recieved this email (after i sent an unambiguous reply):
„dear sir,
i regret to inform you that i made a shipping error and sent your cue to the wrong place, and it was jsut returned to me, i am soo sorry for this inconvienience. i can refund the money to you now or send it asap. i sold multiple cues at once and sent them promptly, but i messed up and shipped yours too. please, let me know and resend your shipping info. i apologize for the inconvieneince, call me at (616)437-xxxx randal“

I answered him the same day, sending him shipping infos and asking for a tracking number again.
I never got any further answer,neither saw my cue and he hasn´t refunded my money yet.
Now it´s too late for a refund from paypal, so i placed a negative feedback for this transaction.
And now this guy has the impertinence to accuse german parcel service for his faults.

I haven't read beyond the first few posts, but wanted to share my experience. We started using the post office to ship overseas packages and shipped them insured air mail. Well the foreign postal services were losing one out of four until we switched and started shipping Express Mail. Since then we have not lost one package and they are still a good bit cheaper than fed ex or ups. It is possible it got lost. If the guy insured it ask for a copy of the insurance and tracking numbers then ask for a copy of his claim. The bad thing about making a postal claim is it takes many weeks to get your money. I think they stall around hoping they will find the lost package.

First of all, I´m in contact with Randall finally to solve this problem. Please don´t ask me why he had shipped the cue to the wrong adress the second time, too The adress in the pics is many blocks away from my home. I hadn´t have the chance to pic my cue up from costums because the notification hasn´t reached me.

As a last try, I´ll send Randall the adress of a friend in the US. This cannot be a problem for him.

By the way, I haven´t seen any pics of the cue, only of the package!
This cue was (in theory)a very good deal, as the Blue Book shows at minimum double of the price that I bought this cue. (I do know what the Blue Book is worth in general, but it shows a direction in pricing).

I let you know, when my friend is holding my cue in his hands.
As promised, I´ll retrack Randalls feedback.

I dont know? Am I reading something wrong but in the first line you say that fatnloose published your "Home" address in those photos and then you say that the address on the package is many blocks away from were you live and thats why u didntget the cue???? Just a question,nothing implied

TO ALL WHO HAVE READ, ASSUMED, AND POSTED,
Let me start by saying, again, sorry to you Alberto for this ordeal. It was in fact, My mistake shipping the cue (again), still, here in the states they usually find who its going to and correct it, not hold it for 3 months then send it back. Here is some historical data on this deal. 1st and foremost, i am an active duty us army medic currently in iraq for the second time (2x to afghanistan) in 4 years. I sell cues on the side. When i sold this cue on ebay, i was trying to sell all i had, as i am one of the larger independent dealers in midwest and east coast. I mailed at least 20 cue that week, and mis-shipped albertos. At that time when it came back, I OFFERED A REFUND, and he declined. At the same time i was in an IED class for anti-terrorism tactics my mother died of cancer, approximately 2 weeks prior to my departure for IRAQ. That delayed the shipping of the cue because it was returned while i was gone to kentucky for a funeral. I sent the cue when i got back prior to leaving for iraq, where i have been since. While in iraq, we get 15-20 minutes a week maybe to be on internet, and i dont spend that time reading forums with people talking crap about people they know nothing about. Now im in a location that lets me use more internet, unrestricted, i can reply, whereas before i could not. My family had sent me a letter informing me of another accident in the family, and it was mentioned that a cue stick had came back from GERMANY UNCLAIMED. Wrong address or not, it should have made it to ALBERTO, it was 3 digits off. So i dont thinks its hard for anyone to fathom that I, knowing i sent the cue to ALBERTO scammed him or anyone else!! I know i sent the cue, and when checking my email one day i see on my feedback that i scammed him. HOW WOULD YOU FEEL? Would any of you refund a cue you know you shipped out???? I have sent and sold cues in , TAIWAN, JPAN, KOREA, GERMANY all w/o a problem. And if ever there was a problem, the cue would appear well before 3 MONTHS! So, what have I done since, i REFUNDED ALBERTO HIS FULL AMOUNT PLUS 100 DOLLARS FOR THE MISTAKE. I will not try and contact my family who is in mourning to send out a cue stick overseas, or anywhere for that matter. The cue will sit there for a year and be my thorn to remind me of this and to never ship OVERSEAS again. cue, i have sent a few cues to germany, and never had this problem, and was
being called a " scammer " which i am not. i want to consider this case
closed, and move on...i also made an a-z account, so i can cleary explain

I finally accepted the refund. You know, the blackcreek is worth more than
double of this. But it isn´t worth the additional trouble to get this cue.
At the moment, I see no possibility to change the feedback, because this
case lasted to long for the ebay-feedback. I can only add a note to this
transaction. If you know another way, please let me know.
I´ll post in azbilliards that we consider this case closed. I´ll include our
final emails.

randall somehow you have misunderstood something. because i stated that i had a GOOD transaction with you and even communicated some with marcus on how to get the problem resolved. i said nothing negative about you at all. in fact i waqs the first person to stand up for you in a post! i'm sure clashbilliards will attest to the fact that i stood up for you. i think you might have me confused with someone else. :confused:

the one transaction i had was buying and ebony ivory mcdaniels from you and it was one of the best hitting cues ive had.

I Was Reading A Post ( A Little Confusing ) By Some Verhoff Or Something, Where It Said Hes On My List To Never Buy From, And Thought It Was Your Post. So For All To See, A Public Apology, And A Special Thanx To Alberto , Who After We Went Thru Square-trade, Restored My Feedback To 100% Thanx Again Alberto. Just to add that not all international trades are duds... i have many cues come and leave here in Singapore and dont have too much trouble..

Anyway cheers to ur job. i was a radar plotter in the Navy till 02, and one negative feedback of mine was also due to the fact i was on emergency recall and went out at sea for 6 days. and the SATCOM on missle corvettes are not for personal use...

Patriotism aside, many landlubbers do not realise the uncertainty of our jobs.. Those days, one beep from the pager, and we'll simply sling the ali baba bag and off the sea.
