Jump on it!
The table looks in good shape....one of the clues is the plastic moulding
under the wooden skirts.....most pool halls get rid of them so I feel this
table has had TLC.

Is this an old Gold Crown II?

I think I'm taking to a wife or something, doesn't seem to know much about it. said its already taken apart and the slate is crated. this could be the ONE!!

What would be a fair price for this table. the ad says 2100, im thinking more like 1200 or 1300?

Edit: comes with a set of balls and cues =)

These tables were made for "The Cue Connection"

I can't seem to find a gold crown within 100 miles of me for sale?

Yes- I had one of those. My poolroom was "Pockets" which started in Chelmsford and I moved to Bradford. Al Baron sold those tables to Pockets.

You might want to try to track down Dave Egdahl (sorry I don't have his number) or Jay Spielberg (603-765-6160) They always have used Gold Crowns at pretty decent prices. Plus it will be moved and installed for you.

What would u pay for a Schmidt 9 foot table in good condition. We are around 2k right now.

We play on A E Schmidt tables at our local pool room and they are nice tables. I would say for that kind of money you can still get one of the other tables folks have been talking about on here. They are quality tables though. One of the oldest family owned billiard companies around that's still owned by the same family. All quality made tables!

antique Brunswick Madison

I bought it for $700 including set up & new cloth. It needs some refinishing on the sides but this is not relevant to its function.

I have an appraisal of $4700 for insurance purposes.

Time for an update... please tell us you got the tangerine GC and left the Sxhxit at the pool room...

Can already tell you you need to order new anchors from Brunswick or Diamond if you got the Schmidt or you'll have rail bolts falling out every few months... Not seen one in commercial use for any length of time that didn't have this as a major problem...
