For sale: 1993 Schon professionally restored by Proficient Billiards. This is the first year Schon put I.D. on their shafts and the only year on the collar.
The cue is straight and has only been test hit since the refinish. No scale, but I believe it to be 18.5 oz. Shaft: 13mm. Pristine condition.
You can email me at david.w.brown@live.com if interested.

Do you have a picture of the joint horizontally?

The shaft appears to be from 1993, but the butt does not. The pins used for that year are flat, not rounded on the top like this one appears to be from the pic.

I have seen cues from this era with both pins , the standard one shown here, and the Acme pin with the flat head. The lack of a flat-head screw does not preclude the butt from being 1993. Schon tried the flat-head screw for a short time, and decided to return to their standard joint screw.
