If you like a s/steel joint, these are great cues to play with. I have a newer STL 7 that I used to play with also. Kinda prefer big pin flat face joints, but can't seem to let this one go.
 
Here's mine. An R12/15 (R12 forearm and R15 butt sleeve) from early 80's.

Here's mine, first Schon (bottom one in pics) I bought around 1987 while in college. Bob Runde's son went to the same college, I ran into him in the rec center (where the pool tables were), we became friends and I became a Schon convert... Second Schon (top) I acquired through a series of trades, I believe it was a non-standard design, probably got it in the early 90's. Still have both cues, haven't bought another cue since.
